Basic Information for the Season:
* Soccer Signups: Applications are mailed out for returning players after April 1st and walk in sign ups are in May & June each year.
* Practice Begins: Practice usually starts in August, as soon as coaches are selected and team rosters are developed.
* First Practice Games: Clubs have a Jamboree in early to mid August to start the season. (See Calendar.)
* Team & Individual Photos are usually taken at the Jamboree.
* Season runs for ten weeks, from the Saturday after Labor Day --- until about the second weekend of November. Play off games follow the regular season.
* Elk Grove plays girls teams and boys teams. They are not mixed. Teams are generally age pure; that means that 6 year olds play against 6 year olds, 7 year olds against 7 year olds, etc...
What you will need for registration:
* 1x1 inch photo of child (please don't cut).
* Copy of official birth certificate, issued by State/City/County. It will be kept on file with the Club. It will not be returned so please bring a copy.
* Checkbook. Registration will be $120 each for the first two kids in the family.
Family discounts start with the third child.
What the kids will need to start playing:
* Shin Guards.
* Soccer Cleats (no toe cleat).
* Soccer ball of correct size.
* Water Bottle.
* Uniforms will be supplied by the club.
