Volunteers - Help Wanted
A cornerstone of the Laguna Creek SoccerClub (LCSC) program is an extensive network of dedicated volunteers. These volunteers participate as board members, coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, event and tournament volunteers and others who support the LCSC and its teams in a variety of other ways.
As parents and caretakers, we naturally want everything that is beneficial and best for our children. Your involvement can help assure that their experience will be high in rewards and low in frustration. Here's how you can help.
Volunteer coaches form the core of the LCSC experience and are the heart and soul of the teams. We are grateful for your diligent effort, determination, and the time and energy you spend helping our players develop their skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork in pursuit of excellence in soccer.
Every new season brings a new group of U6 boys and girls teams teams to our club and so, this age group typically needs additional volunteers. LCSC provides training for coaches through the California Yourth Soccer Association (CYSA) Coaching Program. In addition, each age group has an Age Group Coordinator, and a vertan coach to assist you when needed.
If you would like to participate as one of our valuable LCSC coaches or assistant coaches this season, please contact the LCSC Coaching Coordinator.
Every U6 - U8 team must provide a referee for each game. Coaches must find two volunteers to be their team referees, so they are grateful for your participation.
LCSC provides training for U6 - U8 referees through our licensed league referees. Several dates are available for the U6 - U8 referee couse. Please bring a whistle, running shoes, loose clothing, notebook, pencil, or pen, water quetions, and a smile!

LCSC strives to make the many fields it maintains both playable and beautiful for our players and supporters alike.
At the beginning of each season, these fields need to be measured with goals placed and field lines painted, so volunteers are always needed. To keep our fields beautiful, the lines need re-painting on a regular basis. LCSC provides the materials necessary to measure, place, and line/paint the fields along with a Field Coordinator to direct the efforts.
