1. Cell phones are to be turned off during the courses

2. Most locations will allow you bring food and eat it there.

3. You must clean up after yourself.

4. Bring water, especially for the field training.

5. Please bring pen/pencil, paper, rule book and training materials to every class.

6. Read the EGYSL Policy regarding inappropriate behavior.

7. Inappropriate behavior will have the person(s) removed from the course.

8. Any inappropriate, unethical behavior or improprieties will have you removed from the pool of Elk Grove Referees.

9. Referee Courses will be at the Sports Building at Bartholomew Sports Park(BSP) at Whitelock and Franklin High Road. The Sports Building is at the back of Field Number One which is the field that is closest to Franklin High School or which is to the RIGHT of the football field.

10. PLEASE BRING A CHAIR TO SIT ON. QUANTITY OF SEATS AT BSP ARE LIMITED


The course is free for applicants from within the EGYSL
The fee for non-EGYSL applicants is $50
EGYSL will provide a uniform kit to all participants who pass the course after they sign a contract to provide referee services to the League.
Graduates are required to referee a minimum of 5 games or will have to reimburse the EGYSL $70 for their uniform kit.
